New company FANUC CNC UK to benefit customers

Echternach, Luxemburg - At the end of 2009, following the dissolution of the 23 year joint venture between FANUC and GE, Fanuc GE CNC and FANUC Service have merged to form the new company FANUC CNC UK. The new company will use synergies and its expanded potential to benefit its customers. Even more precision thanks to 3D rotary error compensation

Echternach, Luxembourg ? FANUC has announced a new function for the 30i and 31i-A5 Series of CNC control systems. "3D Rotary Error Compensation" improves the correction of geometric machine errors by including not only linear axes but also any rotary axes that are used in the machining envelope. Therefore, in contrast to most current compensation options, this function is able to process three-dimensional measurement data for the overall machine volume and makes it ideal for five-axis machines. The result: greater cutting accuracy and precision, through error compensation of the machine kinematics....  (more)
